Guy helped us with a combined double-storey side and rear extension, roughly doubling the size of our end-of-terrace home in SW London. Despite the scale of the project, his design quality stood out from the outset; well-proportioned spaces with excellent flow and balance, which translated beautifully and seamlessly into the finished build. Guy also connected us with other professionals (engineers, builders etc), and guided us smoothly through planning and compliance. Throughout the project Guy and GBS were straightforward, honest and transparent with respect to costs, potential savings etc and we would not hesitate to use them again.

Working with Guy was very straightforward and easy. He understood what I was seeking to achieve immediately and improved it. Drawings were swiftly prepared; planning permission sought and the works tendered. Whilst the works were retrofitting new windows and roof glass as well as some internal modifications to a pre-existing extension the impact was very marked. I would have no hesitation to recommend him.

Cameron designed two extensions for us. He understood our requirements and readily accommodated our feedback. The builders implemented his designs with few if any issues. He was very helpful with minor extras such as planning permission for the airconditioing. Many thanks Cameron - our experience was entirely positive!

Having dealt with many architectural design firms, I would not hesitate recommending GBS. Innovative stand out ideas and they know how Merton planning operate in order to get their plans approved. What's more they are direct, cost effective and genuinely just a nice team with fantastic ideas on how to make the space flow.
I would not hesitate to recommending them especially in dealing with the Wimbledon Village area whether it be for a full knock down/rebuild or a refurbishment/extension.

Having worked with GBS for many years, I was not surprised at their excellent client servicing skills, attention to detail and commercial knowledge. I have recommended Guy and the team for large and small projects which they have approached with passion and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend them whether it be for a residential refurb/extension or large scale new building project.

Cameron was absolutely brilliant in advising with the planning process, preparing the drawings and obtaining the successful approval of the planning application. Very professional, knowledgable and responsive to any queries during the process. We really liked his design that transformed our layout to our requirements with very realistic view on budget. Highly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough of Guy Shorney who contract managed the project for me. He has excellent knowledge of dealing with planning applications and building regulations. As well as producing innovative and accurate drawings he also provided good advice and creative solutions. Guy kept me informed and updated at every stage of the process, was supportive, patient, professional and a pleasure to work with. His support was invaluable to me at what was an anxious and stressful time, as this was the first time I had embarked on such a project! He is also supported by his very helpful team in the office.
